IMA Dojo Hours for 2012 Holiday Season
A reminder to everyone that the IMA Dojo in Louisville will be closed for the holidays starting Monday, December 24th and will re-open for all classes on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

IMA Holiday Party This Saturday Night, December 1st @ 6pm
Come one, come all… Join us this Saturday, December 1st, for an evening of fun and friendship (and, of course, some dancing) at IMA’s annual holiday party!
Everyone is welcome to bring a dish to share; it can be a main dish, an appetizer or dessert. IMA will be providing the drinks and, as every year, Sensei Madani will be cooking a turkey!
We will have entertainment from the dojo members (the talent show is always a lot of fun) and end the evening with dancing. Since there is belt testing earlier that day, this is also a great time to congratulate your fellow karateka on their achievements!

Kyu Belt Testing on Saturday, December 1, 2012
The Dojo will be closed for regular classes on Saturday, December 1st for Kyu Belt Testing.
- If your current belt level is white through green/white stripe, your testing time is 9:30am.
- If your current belt level is full green belt (and up), your testing time is 11:30am.
All students who are testing must be at the Dojo at least 15 minutes prior to your testing time.
If you or your child are testing, please pick up an application at the Dojo and return it no later than Thursday, November 29th. Applications will not be accepted on testing day.
Please check your Student Handbook and visit our Belt Testing Guidelines for additional information about how to prepare for your test.
2012 IMA Family Unity Tournament – Saturday, December 15
Once again, we are getting closer to the end of the year and it is our tradition to finish the year with the Annual IMA Family Unity Tournament.
This friendly and exciting gathering is designed for all ages and levels (white to black belt) and is held at the Honbu dojo.
The purpose of this tradition is for IMA students (and some IMA dojo friends from different locations) to meet each other, compete and have a good time.
Please download the Family Unity Tournament Information Packet which includes information about the competition divisions as well as the individual and team entry forms.
Please fill out your registration form(s) and return it to the office with payment no later than December 13th.
