Go USA, Good luck Kamran!

The XXXIII Sr. Pan American championship is taking place on March 21-23, 2019 in Panama City, Panama. The United States among other countries are represented with a full male and female team. This year competition is a lot more significant to all competitors as the result of this competitions and accumulating the points will play a very important role of ranking for 2020 Olympic. Our own Kamran will be competing on Thursday in -84 Kg. in a very intense bracket. We wish him Good luck and are proud of his dedication and perseverance. Good luck Kamran. Go USA!

The second phase of USA Karate senior team selection will take place on January 19, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The top 6 competitors from last national championship will meet again this coming Saturday to claim their spot on the 2019 USA team headed to Pan American championship in Panama City, Panama and any other competition representing USA Karate. Our own IMA member, Kamran Madani will be among the competitors in -84 kg. World University Championships

FISU, the official world university organization hosted the 2018 world university championship in Kobe, Japan from July 19-22, 2018. USA was represented by 8 athletes in this high prestige and intense competition. Participants from all over the world competed in their category with restriction of being a college/university student in their country and could not exceed 25 years old age. Our own Kamran represented USA Karate in -84Kg. He defeated his opponent from Czech Republic, Poland and Kosovo in the elimination to make his way to final match against Australia. Rocky Mountain Championship

The “2018 Rocky Mountain Championship” date is set for May 5-6. The 24th anniversary of this championship promise to be even greater than previous years and with many other states and international confirming their participation, will provide another unique opportunity for all ages to have a great competition. Whether a junior, senior or master competitor, you will most certainly find this tournament a wonderful experience. IMA students are back from 2018 US Open

The IMA Competition Team recently returned from Las Vegas, Nevada after competing in the 2018 Karate Junior International Cup and the 2018 Karate US Open. Thousands of karate competitors from all over the world were in Las Vegas from March 30-April 1 to participate in two of the most prestigious karate competitions in North America.
