Pan Am Games Gold Medal

USA Karate Press release: Kamran has been awarded the gold medal after originally finishing second at the 2019 Pan American Games. Madani’s medal reallocation has come about after first place Colombia was disqualified after a positive anti-doping violation. Kamran: What a way to start the year! After recent events, I have been informed that the original gold medalist from the Pan American Games was stripped of his medal, making me the new gold medalist! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Snowy day, Dojo closed!

Due to heavy snow from last night that still continues for most of the day and bad road conditions and for everyone safety, Dojo will be closed today Tuesday 11/26, for regular classes. We will resume regular schedule tomorrow Wednesday before closing again for Thanks Giving holidays for Thursday and Friday. Please feel free to make up the missed class at any time. WKF Jr. World Championship

IMA is so proud of our two World championship representatives, Emre Kivanc and Kelara Madani who competed in last week of October in Santiago, Chile. The circumstance due to the internal and anti government protest was not usual however the US athletes and our IMA members did their best of performance in a very intense competition. Over 90 countries and more than 1400 athletes from entire glob were present in this championship. Rocky Mountain Gasshuku

The 25th Rocky Mountain Gasshuku is returning to The Inn at Silver Creek in Granby, Colorado on Oct. 4-6, 2019. The Inn at Silver Creek is 110 miles west of Denver International Airport. The approximately two-hour drive from the airport along I-70 and US-40 West takes you into the Rocky Mountains on your way to Granby. We have invited some previous year instructors as well as some new instructors to make this camp another memorable event for everyone.
