Thank You to Everyone Who Participated in the 19th Annual Rocky Mountain Gasshuku

Our 19th Annual Rocky Mountain Gasshuku held this past weekend in beautiful Keystone, Colorado was a huge success and barrels of fun. Participants came from several dojos in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Missouri, Texas, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Florida. On Friday and Saturday, students worked hard on learning kata and new sparring techniques and strategies. The delicious buffet dinner on Saturday night filled our stomachs and the company of all the karate-ka and their families filled our hearts. 19th Annual Rocky Mountain Karate Summer Camp

The International Martial Arts Association would like to invite you and your students to our exciting and memorable 19th Annual Gasshuku (Karate Summer Camp) the weekend of September 27-29, 2013 in Keystone, Colorado. Gasshuku is a traditional retreat designed to allow a Karate-ka to focus on karate without the daily distractions that interrupt the learning process. By participating in this camp, you will learn many skills and form a better understanding of Martial Arts. 18th Annual “Rocky Mountain Gasshuku”

This year’s Rocky Mountain Gasshuku was held over the last weekend of September at the beautiful Keystone resort at 9,300 ft. altitude. The students learned a lot of new techniques during Saturday’s training sessions and the Saturday night dinner was followed by many performances and singing and dancing that made the evening another memorable, fun time for everyone. The Sunday kumite competition added a new flavor to our training schedule and with the help and advice from the visiting coaches, everyone had a chance to be advised on their skills and improve their strategies.
